Coffee Kick

The Coffee Kick brand is a development of a modern roastery company that wants to push the boundaries of the coffee bean industry. Combining considered, user-based designs to their packaging and marketing collateral mixed with delicious, locally roasted beans that stand up against competition in their region.

The main focus of this university project was to effectively redesign an item of common packaging within households, I chose coffee packaging and used consumer research and competitor analysis to form an insightful design. I developed and prototyped a sustainable label/spoon system that fits over a multi-layered PET coffee bag design. The recycled card stock label slides off the bag, and is broken down with help from perforations to create a spoon to be used to scoop the beans.
